A seasoned educator and administrator, Oberkrieser brings more than a decade of experience in Lewisville ISD, having most recently served as assistant principal at both Shadow Ridge and Huffines Middle School. She has been instrumental in leading restorative discipline initiatives, expanding student engagement opportunities, and strengthening special education services across campuses.

She holds a master’s degree in Special Education with a focus in Autism Intervention, as well as multiple graduate certificates in behavior analysis and leadership.
“Cheryl’s leadership is rooted in connection, compassion, and a strong belief in student potential,” said LISD Superintendent Dr. Lori Rapp. “She has already made a tremendous impact on the Shadow Ridge community, and we’re thrilled to see her continue that work as principal.”
Oberkrieser is excited to continue serving the Shadow Ridge community in this new capacity. “This school means so much to me,” she shared. “I’m honored to lead a campus that truly believes in every student and every voice. I look forward to continuing our shared journey of growth and excellence."
