My name is Mrs. Kelcourse. I am an 8th grade Science teacher a Lakeview Middle School. I was born and raised in North Texas, and started my education in Lewisville ISD. I graduated from the University of North Texas in 2017 with a Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. Science is my passion and I am so blessed to be able to share my knowledge and enthusiasm with young learners. My husband and I have been married since 2014 and are blessed to have two beautiful boys, Aiden and Brody. We enjoy spending time as a family outside and competing in game nights with extended family and friends.  

I believe that helping students connect content with something meaningful and relevant in their own lives is critical for deeper understanding. My goal this year is to help empower my students with knowledge and skills for success in the future, while building meaningful relationships with them.
