My name is Alyssa Koch. I’m a big believer in restorative practice and building relationships in the classroom. Connect before content! I’m all for flexible seating and giving students a choice and a voice in the classroom. We learn together as a family and work hard for ourselves. My passion is teaching reading and writing and I could spend all day reading aloud to my class.  I love flamingos, good books, big plants, a hot cup of coffee and a relaxing bath. I practice yoga, play volleyball, wakeboard and love tossing the frisbee with my husband Remington and fur baby Pepper Ann.

Estoy a favor de asientos flexibles y darles a los estudiantes una opción y una voz en el aula. Aprendemos juntos como familia y trabajamos duro para nosotros mismos. Mi pasión es enseñar a leer y escribir y podría pasar todo el día leyendo en voz alta a mi clase. Me encantan los flamencos, los libros, las plantas grandes, una taza de café caliente y un baño relajante. Practico yoga, juego voleibol, wakeboard y amo lanzar el frisbee con mi esposo Remington y el nuestro perro Pepper Ann.
