Mrs. Sarah Hawley

Sarah Arambula Hawley is from Arlington, TX and she has taught in HEB ISD, Fort Worth ISD, and Frisco ISD before taking the position in Lewisville ISD. Mrs. Hawley has an undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in Music with a focus on education. She received a music scholarship on her cello for all 5 years she was attended college. While at UTA, she had the privilege to take cello lessons with Dr. Elizabeth Morrow and Dr. John Burton. Mrs. Hawley took private conducting lessons with Dr. Clifton Evans for two years and had the opportunity to conduct the UTA Symphony Orchestra. Mrs. Hawley has taken multiple orchestras to UIL, Peak Music Festival, Sandy Lake Music Festival, and Director's Choice Music Festival and received Superior ratings.  Mrs. Hawley has been a successful private cello and bass teacher for 9 years and her private students have qualified for All-Region Orchestra, received Superior Ratings at Solo & Ensemble, and participated in State Solo & Ensemble. She spends her free time gardening, reading, playing video games, practicing her cello, and spending time with her husband Patrick (and 3 cats Beau, Opal, and Zuko).
