Coach Nichols was born in Nashville, Tennessee in 1991. While in Tennessee she attended a private school and played basketball, soccer, lacrosse, tennis, volleyball, and was part of the swim team. She also played the clarinet and was in both choir and musical theatre. She moved here in 2003 and continued her education in Lewisville ISD. She attended Briarhill Middle School and Marcus High school where she played basketball, volleyball, soccer, and was a part of the Spanish and English Honor Societies, Student Council, and NJHS. She was also on the LISD swim team from 2003-2006.

Coach Nichols continued her education at Oklahoma State University and The University of North Texas where she received an undergraduate degree in Integrative Studies with a focus in Psychology, Education, and English. While in college Coach Nichols was a member of Delta Delta Delta, the women's Oklahoma State basketball practice team, and was the chair of several charities and intramural teams. She is currently attending LeTourneau University to receive her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership.

Coach Nichols has a great fiance, a puppy named Koda, and two kittens named Boogs and Little Bit. She is also involved in several charities such as Denton County Friends of the Family, Children's Advocacy Center, Habitat for Humanity, The Humane Society, and Cloud 9 Charities. She has been on committees to plan several of the local fundraising events in Denton county. In her free time, she enjoys playing and watching sports, reading, watching movies, and enjoys the company of her friends.

Coach Nichols currently teaches 6th, 7th, and 8th grade English Language Arts and Advanced ESL. She also coaches 7th and 8th grade basketball, volleyball, soccer, cross country, and track. She is also the English Language Arts department head at Creek Valley Middle School. At Creek Valley Middle school she is involved in BLT, design team, ESL committee, discipline committee, and Project Based Learning. She is always looking for new and exciting ways to be involved on her campus. Coach Nichols loves to teach and she is looking forward to seeing what the year has in store for her.
