My name is America Humphries. This is my 5th year working in the ESL department at ACMS. I'm from the Dominican Republic. I received my teaching certificate from there and worked in public and private schools there before moving to the U.S. I have worked for LISD for 15 years in different positions across elementary and middle school campuses, and work as a private Spanish tutor. I'm married and have four wonderful daughters. I love getting away to the beach or lake, and I also enjoy interior decorating.
