Welcome:

Welcome to 4^th grade math! I hope my passion for learning and my love of mathematics will be contagious to all. I strive to create a fun, safe, collaborative, and open learning environment where trial and error is celebrated and deep and creative thinking is valued.

About Me:

I am a 2009 graduate of the University of North Texas, and this will be my 7th year teaching math.  I started out teaching Math Lab (grades 7 & 8) at Durham Middle School in Lewisville, and then went on to teach 6th Grade Math and 6th Grade Pre-AP Math.   The 2018-2019 school year will be my 6th year at Donald.

On a more personal note - I am originally from New Jersey, but have also lived in California and Minnesota.  I have been living in Texas since 2002. My husband, Mike, and I are going on 29 years of marriage, and we have two great kids. Michael is a graduate of Texas A&M and lives and works in San Antonio. Amanda is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Audiology at UNT. This year I have a boxer puppy named Rocky.
