Hello! My name is Melissa Shanahan. I was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, but moved to Texas at the age of five and consider myself a Texan at heart.  After growing up in Flower Mound and graduating from Marcus High School, I received my Bachelor's Degree from Texas Tech University in English, Spanish, and Human Development & Family Studies. I started teaching in 2007, and have been a Lakeview Leopard since 2012. I married my amazing husband, Sean, in 2006, and we have two of the cutest fur-babies, Lucy and Roxy. When I am not at school, I love puzzles, crafting, traveling, movies, going to the lake, cooking, and visiting with friends and family. I look forward to having an amazing year. GO LEOPARDS!
