Ms. Ramsey Shobe
Ramsey Shobe began her relationship with arts advocacy and dance education at an early age. During middle school, Ramsey studied dance at Lone Star Dance Center and was a member of the highly competitive Energy Dance Company before becoming the Captain of her award-winning high school dance team. While at Kilgore, she was selected to be part of the Swingsters as well as the Kilgore College Dance Department dance company; Industry. She graduated from Texas Woman’s University with a degree in Dance Education in May of 2020. One of Ramsey’s many goals is to make dance accessible to everyone. Active in the dance community, Ramsey is well-versed in jazz, tap, ballet, clogging, hip-hop, contemporary, modern, and more. She has worked with a variety of ages, ranging from pre-school to college, both in her home town of Pflugerville and North Dallas. With several solo and team awards behind her, Ramsey’s passions include helping students build strong foundations, exploring movement, choreography, and sharing the love of dance.
