Recognizing Investment in Student Excellence

Project RISE

At the heart of Lewisville ISD's mission is the belief that high-quality staff are the heart of a culture of learning. As a district, we are committed to ensuring our educators are positioned where they can make the greatest impact on student success.

Data-Driven Tiered Approach

To ensure resources are allocated effectively, Title I schools are categorized in tiers based on a weighted mathematical calculation of school-level factors. This ensures our highest-priority campuses receive elevated support and compensation to address academic opportunity gaps proactively.

How is Your Role Categorized?

Critical Subject Teachers

Includes educators assigned core content responsibilities for kindergarten through 8th grade classes across English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.

Complementary Subject Teachers

Includes elective pathways, specials, and enrichment-area campus educators who play an integral part in providing our Title I students with well-rounded academic experiences.

A Shared Commitment to Excellence

With the significant compensation increases in Project RISE comes a shared commitment to campus turnaround and district required expectations for staff. Beginning with the 2027-28 staffing season, any elementary or middle school with two consecutive unacceptable state accountability ratings will undergo required staffing changes.

This is a proactive, strategic step to ensure our campus leadership teams and critical subject teachers are positioned for maximum impact, allowing us to build the strongest possible foundation for student excellence.

Project RISE is an invitation to lead. It is a call for our most passionate educators to join us in a districtwide movement of equity and excellence. Let’s continue to RISE together as ONELISD.
