I am so excited for the new 2020 - 2021 school year. This will be my 17th year to teach Texas History, my 13th at Lakeview. I graduated from the University of North Texas in 1997. I have lived in Texas all my life and have a rich family background in Texas.
This year I will be focusing on implementing the LISD Strategic Design Core Beliefs. The Core Belief that I will spend a great deal of time on is (An educated citizenry is essential for equal opportunity and a prosperous society).
I have two children, one who is in college and the other who is in 12th grade this year. I love to travel and spend time outside.
