I have served as the Assistant Band Director at Lakeview since 2013!  I love being a part of the Lakeview family and working with the amazing students here in The Colony.  I previously served as the Director of Bands in Gunnison Valley, Utah.

 

I attended college at Brigham Young University where I graduated with a B.M. in Music Education.  While at BYU, I studied saxophone with Ray Smith and Daron Bradford, and conducting with Don Peterson.

 

While in college I met my beautiful wife Tawna, and we now have 7 amazing children! My family is a huge source of joy to me and I would not be able to do what I love everyday (teaching music!) without their love and support.  My other hobbies include gardening, reading, basketball, soccer, camping, board games, and playing with my kids!

This full-year course is designed to provide opportunities for students to learn to play instrumental music in a group setting and lead students to acquire the skills needed for satisfactory performance. Students must rent or own instruments and are required to attend scheduled rehearsals and events.
