Mrs. Ashley Harden is a Virtual Learning Specialist at VLA. She was born and raised in Lewisville, TX and is a proud 2003 graduate of LHS. GO FARMERS!! She graduated from Hampton University in Hampton, VA with a B.S. in Marine and Environmental science. She decided to pursue being a teacher her senior year of college while mentoring at the Virginia Aquarium. Mrs. Harden was primarily a Chemistry teacher while in the classroom. She has previously worked in Desoto ISD, Northwest ISD, and Grapevine-Colleyville ISD and this is her 2nd time working in LISD.

As an advocate for flexible learning, educational technology, and equity, she has a passion to educate teachers and students alike. She also has a M.Ed in Guidance and Counseling with a passion to uplift others to their full potential. Mrs. Harden is married to her husband, who is an assistant principal at Chisholm Trail High School in EMS-ISD, and mother to 2 beautiful daughters.
