Every student is asked to bring in shelf worthy snacks. We use snacks/cooking as not only daily reinforcers, but the opportunity to use our learned skills of table manners, appropriate etiquette, speech, social skills, problem solving, team work, and a variety of other skills. Some class favorites are:
- Goldfish, crackers, chips
- Fruit snacks
- Popcorn
- Cookies
- Sugar-free drink mixes (this will be made by the quart for the daily snacks)
- Individual packaged drink boxes/pouches are for Theater Thursday and special occasions.
Many of these items can be purchased at the local Dollar Tree or Five Below, though I realize that the beginning of the year can be a financial burden for many families, so if you are unable to send in all the items, please send me an email and we can ensure your student has what they need. Throughout the year, I will periodically send out requests for snacks and other supplies that we will need. Thank you for all your support. I am so excited about this upcoming school year and the amazing adventures it will bring.
Thank you,
Misty Graham
