Mrs. Lisa Vaughan

Hello Hebron Valley Huskies! My name is Lisa Vaughan. I have been a teacher in Lewisville ISD for the past 27 years. During this time, I have had the pleasure of teaching in both elementary and middle school settings. I have taught 2nd and 4th grade along with teaching reading to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. I have also been an instructional technologist and had the opportunity to help integrate technology into the curriculum in both elementary and middle schools. My heart has always been with the students in our district and I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with you this year.

In addition to being a teacher in Lewisville ISD, I was also a student kindergarten through 12th grade. I graduated in the first class from Marcus High School in 1988. I then went on to graduate from Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches, Texas with my Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and received my teaching certificate.

My husband Ricky and I just celebrated 23 years of marriage and have one daughter, Olivia, who will be starting at Hebron High School 9th Grade Campus this fall. We also have three fur babies – our dogs Kennedy & Lucy along with our cat, Pepper. We enjoy spending family time together cooking out, playing board games, working around our house, and swimming.

I'm looking forward to a great school year! Please feel free to reach out to me at
