SENIOR COLLEGE VISITS

  • College Visit Absences 2020-2021

The number of college visit excused absences for this year’s Seniors has changed from 2 days per year to 4 days. This number has been adjusted because this year’s seniors were not allowed to make any college visits last spring due to COVID.

Two of the absences will be funded by the state and two will be coded as excused absences this year with proper documentation.  Please consult with attendance clerks and assistant principals when taking a college visit to ensure the correct paperwork is submitted to excuse the absence.

In a normal setting, students are allowed 2 college visits their junior year and 2 during their senior year.
