Hi Voyagers! My name is Mrs. M and I am the Art Teacher here at Vickery. I have been an Art teacher since 2009. I grew up in this district and am a proud LISD Alumni. I went to college at Southern Methodist University in Dallas and studied Studio Drawing and Painting as well as Art History. I have taught both Elementary and High School art. I also used to teach at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, and the Oklahoma Contemporary where I taught students as young as 1 year old all the way up to 90 years old. Don't tell anyone, but elementary students are my favorite! I enjoy painting in my free time and spending time with my husband, Ryan and our children. I consider it an honor to be able to be your art teacher and to share my love of creativity with you. I hope that together we can bring out your inner artist this year, Voyagers!

¡Hola Viajeros! Mi nombre es Sra. M y soy la maestra de arte aquí en Vickery. He sido maestra de arte desde 2009. Crecí en este distrito y soy una orgullosa alumna de LISD. Fui a la universidad en Southern Methodist University en Dallas y estudié Dibujo y Pintura de Estudio, así como también Historia del Arte. He enseñado arte de primaria y secundaria. También he sido maestra en el Museo de Arte de Oklahoma City, y en el Oklahoma Contemporary donde enseñé a estudiantes de 1 año de edad hasta los 90 años de edad. No se lo digas a nadie, ¡pero los estudiantes de primaria son mis favoritos! Disfruto pintar en mi tiempo libre y pasar tiempo con mi esposo Ryan y nuestros hijos.
