Ms. Valerie Watson

SDI Services Specialist, Lakeview Middle School.

Ms. Watson is a highly respected, ethical and principled professional who has worked over 30 years in the fields of education, professional development/training, and software development/sales. She has served in capacity of Teacher, Professional Developer, Human Resources Development Specialist, Project Implementation Specialist, Administrator, Coordinator of Special Projects, and Vice President of Operations.  Currently, Ms. Watson is an SDI Specialist who implements inclusion strategies in a variety of co-taught classrooms, SDI Pull-out Math and as an approved member of the current LISD Secondary Assistant Principal Pool.

Ms. Watson earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Language Arts, Elementary Education and Special Education from New Mexico State University and her Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from the University of North Texas.  Ms. Watson is also a nationally certified Strategic Instruction Model (SIM®) Content Enhancement Professional Developer.  Her teaching certifications include: Mid-Management Administrator PK-12, Generic Special Education PK-12, and Core Subjects 4-8.

Ms. Watson is, at heart, a teacher, professional developer, and problem solver who thrives on utilizing data to help others learn new products, strengthen procedures and implement innovative strategies to make their work/education more efficient, effective and productive.
