Hello parents and students!  This school year (in October of 2019) I was given the wonderful opportunity to follow Mrs. Cohen as the AVLS and FLS teacher at Huffines Middle School.  I've been at Huffines since 2009.  For the first 5 years I was a math teacher and was also given the opportunity to be the math department head.  After that I took an administraive position as Testing Coordinator as well as some other roles.  Now I am the AVLS/FLS teacher and I absolutely love it!  My students bring joy to my life and motiviate me every day to be the best teacher that I can be.  

I love working with and getting to know and love students who have different abilities, and I hope to continue in this role as long as I can.  

In my spare time I am an avid tennis player, and I also like to stay busy by working here and there as well.   I have a bachelors degree in Political Science from University of Texas, Dallas, a masters degree in Political Science from Univeristy of California, Riverside as well as a masters degree in Educational Leadership from University of North Texas.
