Secondary Summer School

  • LISD Summer School is an option for recovery of credit. A student must have previously failed a course in order to enroll in that course during summer school.  Students cannot attend summer school in order to accelerate learning. The LISD Summer School session begins May 30 and ends June 19. Any questions or inquiries should be made through the student’s home campus counselor or assistant principal. Transportation is available (for a fee), and breakfast/lunch are free of charge for all students. Please refer to the Summer School Student Code of Conduct for questions regarding behavior expectations, hours, and dress code information.

Registration: Registration for Summer School will be May 28 at the LHS Killough Campus.  No online registration will be available; however, if needed, students can register early with home campus counselors.  Early registration is not required or necessary to save a space for students during Summer School sessions.
