Ms. Angie Marchany-Rivera

Angie Marchany-Rivera has been a science enthusiast since her childhood years. She has participated in local, regional and international science fairs and symposia since the 8th grade. As a college student, she had the opportunity of working for federal agencies as an intern studying hurricane structure and atmospheric composition, worked as a private tutor for various 1-on-1 tutoring companies and as a Chemistry Laboratory Instructor for the University of Arkansas-Little Rock.  She obtained a B.S. in Theoretical Physics with a minor in Atmospheric Science from the University of Puerto Rico in 2009 and completed a M.A. in Applied Science from the University of Arkansas-Little Rock in 2016.

Ms. Marchany-Rivera joined Lewisville High School - Ben Harmon Campus as a Chemistry Teacher. She is currently teaching Pre AP and General Chemistry in Room 2401.

Tutoring hours:

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during lunch.

Thursday after school.

Other tutoring hours are available upon request.
