Todd Wheeler
Mr. Wheeler holds a B.S. in Forensic Science and has over 26 years of law enforcement experience. Mr. Wheeler started his career in early 1994 with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) before accepting a position with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in 1997, in the Dallas Field Division. In 1999 Mr. Wheeler transferred to the DEA Denver Division, where he spent 11 years before promoting back to the DEA Dallas Division in 2010. Mr. Wheeler retired from the DEA as a Supervisory Special Agent in 2020.
Mr. Wheeler has extensive experience in conducting large scale international complex conspiracy investigations for prosecution in both state and federal court. As part of those investigations Mr. Wheeler has conducted thousands of hours of mobile and stationary surveillance operations. Mr. Wheeler has processed over 350 clandestine drug laboratories and testified over 250 times in state and federal courts both as an expert witness and as a criminal investigator. Mr. Wheeler has conducted hundreds of arrests, search warrant executions, interviews and interrogations, and undercover/confidential informant buys/operations and has extensive experience in writing criminal complaints, arrest and search warrant affidavits, seizure warrants, and TIII (wire tap) affidavits.
In his spare time, Mr. Wheeler enjoys outdoor sports including hiking, mountain biking and stand up paddle boarding. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids.
