Hi! Welcome to Donald Computer Science! I love teaching this fun and exciting class! This is my 5th year at Donald.  Computer Science is in the Specials rotation so students will see me at least once a week.  My classroom is located in the 4th grade hall.  When students come to my class, they will be engaged in problem-solving activities so fun, they won't even realize they're learning technology, digital citizenship, coding, robotics, microprocessors, teamwork, engineering, patience, and grit!  I love it and I know they will too!  Our students get a great foundation in computer science skills.

I am a Texas girl!  I was born in Houston.  I attended Texas Tech in Lubbock and stayed after graduation to work at Texas Instruments, where I met my husband who is from Italy.  He came to Lubbock to train for the opening of a new Texas Instruments plant in Avezzano, Italy.  We married 32 years ago and have 2 daughters.  My oldest graduated from UT Austin in 2020 earning her BS, RN degree.  She currently works at a Day Surgery Center in Los Angeles, CA.  My youngest is attending UT Austin studying Fashion Merchandising and will graduate in December 2022.

Now that we're empty nesters with 1 kid still in college and 1 FASFA loan, we really can't afford to do anything.  :)  We keep busy with minor home renovations. We have 2 cats and a goofy dog that doesn't mind at all.  We love to travel - both close to home and long distances. My husband enjoys photography and I like to go with him when he's looking for new landscapes to shoot.  He also likes to cook and I like to eat what he cooks! We enjoy having friends and family over for dinner.   I like to scrapbook, but lately, I've just been collecting memorabilia and assorted scrapbook supplies.  I’ll get back to it one day.

I look forward to the upcoming year and can’t wait get a little more normal.
