Mrs. Raye Anne Cox

Mrs. Cox has been married to her junior high sweetheart, Richard, for 39 years. They live on 4 acres in Celina. Their daughter, Jamie Lynne Gillespy, teaches American Sign Language at Centennial High School in Frisco. Her granddaughters, Ryleigh and Reese, love theatre as much as she

Mrs. Cox earned a Master of Science in Human Relations and Business from Amberton University in 2002. In 1981, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Texas at Arlington. Mrs. Cox's other certifications include Speech K-12, Elementary Education 1-8, ESL K-12 , and Theatre K-12.

She taught 4th and 6th grades in elementary school for 11 years. For the past 20 years, she has taught middle school Theatre. She teaches Theatre 1,2,3, AVID 6 and TV Production. For five years, Mrs. Cox also taught the high school credit class Communication Applications. At Creek Valley Middle School, Mrs. Cox is the sponsor of the Theatre Club.
