Hello! My name is Melissa Myers, and I teach Special Education Life Skills at Lakeview Middle School. I’m so excited to have your child in my class! I grew up right here in The Colony, having gone to Camey ES, Griffin MS, and The Colony High School. I am an alumna of The University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. This is my 9th year in Lewisville ISD and my 16th year teaching.  I’ve also taught Resource/Inclusion, Communication Class, Behavior Intervention Class, and 3rd Grade. I have a daughter who is a Senior at UNT, and a son who will be a Freshman at Texas State University. Family keeps me very busy, and I love every minute of it! I also enjoy coloring, reading, cooking, and watching sports and movies/Netflix. I look forward to a great 2021-2022 School Year!!
