Hello, my name is Misty Graham. Welcome! I have had the privilege to be in Special Education for the past thirteen years here at Lakeview. This 2021-2022 school year, I will continue to teach within our amazing Life Skills program. I have always had a deep passion for teaching and mentoring students with different abilities, challenges, or hardships. I feel abundtly blessed to have the opportunity to guide and teach our youth and strive to do my best in postively promoting individual growth.

I strongly believe in all of the LISD strategic design core beliefs, and will focus on the first belief, "every student is uniquely capable and deserves to be challenged every day." I believe in challenging all of our students, while acknowledging and appreciating the effort of each student.

I am a graduate of Texas Woman’s University with a B.S. in Sociology and I currently hold a 4th-8^th Generalist, ESL supplemental, and an EC-12^th Special Education certificate. I have two amazing boys that have both attended LVMS, those years are memories I will cherish forever. I have also been blessed with an adorable grandson that will hopefully one day become an LVMS Leopard.
