Hello Eagles!

I am SO excited to start my twelfth year of teaching at Arbor Creek this year! I’ve spent the last 10 years as Head Choir Director at Blalack Middle School and can’t wait to start this new adventure at ACMS. I’ve also had the honor to serve my community by directing the CFBISD Elementary Honor Choir, which was chosen to perform at the Texas Music Educators Association Convention in 2018, and I have served as the TMEA Region 31 MS/JH Vocal Division Treasurer and Technology Officer.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from St. Olaf College in 2011, where I was a three-year member of the St. Olaf Choir and had the opportunity to tour domestically and internationally in England, Ireland, and Wales.

Choirs under my direction have received consistent ratings of “Superior” at UIL Concert and Sightreading competitions, as well as “Superior” and “Best in Class” awards at Voices Raised, Hurricane Harbor, NRH2O, and Sandy Lake Music Festivals. In 2019, my Varsity Treble choir was invited to perform in San Antonio at the Texas Music Educators Association Convention and at the State Capital.

I am so thankful to be a part of the amazing ACMS Fine Arts team and to have the support of my wonderful husband, Julian and my son Ephraim! I know we’re going to have an incredible year of music-making together!
