Hi!  My name is Kristin Pribyla.  I’m so excited to start my 4th year at Donald STEM Academy.  Before I started full time at Donald, I was a substitute for Lewisville ISD.  

I was born in a small town in Illinois and lived there for 9 years before moving overseas.  Growing up, I have lived all over the United States (6 states), Taiwan, and Hong Kong.   I moved to Texas in 2014 and have been a resident of Flower Mound for 8 years and absolutely LOVE it.  

I went to college at Western Carolina University in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.  I have a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Pre-professional Emphasis.  Before working at LISD and raising my family, I worked in the laboratory and pharmaceutical industry doing clinical compliance and regulatory affairs  in the Washington, D.C metro area.  

I have been married to my husband, David for 19 years.  We grew up together in Illinois and were in the same class in our elementary school.  We are the proud parents of four children.  Lauren is a 5th grader at Donald, Ethan is a 8th grader at Forestwood Middle School, Sean is a 10th grader at Flower Mound High School, and Nathaniel is an 11th grader at Flower Mound High School.  We also have a very stubborn Great Pyrenees, Bella and a lazy, fat cat named Gracie.  

In my spare time, I love to bake ALL the things, hang out with my family, garden, and travel.  

I am starting the new role of Secretary this upcoming school year and have worked in the front office for 3 years as the Office Clerk.  I look forward to meeting each and every one of you this year.  Please be sure to stop by and say “HI”.
