The LISD Technology Department seeks to provide teachers and classrooms with the tools that will enable teachers to better integrate technology into their curriculum. An Instructional Technology Integration Grant process has been developed for this purpose. Only classroom teachers who have passed the Level I and Level II Competency Tests and have met the study group requirement are eligible for this grant.

Teachers must use the new unit/lesson template. Each item listed must be completed. The unit/lesson template has been revised to meet the standards set by Understanding by Design. Use the ITIG Reflection/Assessment template once you have taught the lesson in order to make revisions. |

Teachers will complete the LISD Instructional Technology Integration Grant Application as the process of applying for additional classroom technology tools. A Unit/Lesson with activities that meet specific objectives and applications submitted for the grant will be reviewed by Curriculum and the Technology Department. |

Those Unit/Lessons that are approved will be posted to the LISD Curriculum web site and the classroom teacher will submit his/her request for additional classroom technology tools from the list of available products. Please consult your campus instructional technologist on your selection. |
