In-Home Training
The purpose of In-home training is to assist in the generalization of critical skills and behaviors learned at school into the home environment. Examples of critical skill areas include behavior, communication and self-help. In-home training provides the school with the opportunity of modeling to parents effective teaching and behavior management techniques used to implement the child's BIP/IEP goals developed by the ARD Committee. In-home training requires the cooperation of the parents and coordination for the provision of appropriate services between the parents and the In-Home trainer. |
