School volunteers are a key part of a successful school and the LISD encourages public involvement at all levels of the District. LISD Board Policy requires that every volunteer undergo a background check before being allowed to work on a site. All volunteers must fill out a Volunteer/Background Check  Application for the 09-10 school year (even if you have been a volunteer in the past).

Todos los voluntarios necesitan completar una aplicación para el año escolar 2009-2010 (aunque han sido voluntarios en años pasados).
