NOTICE: Changes made to LISD Volunteer Background Check

New LISD Volunteer Background Check Application Process

 
LISD  has implemented a new Volunteer Background Check Application process for the 2009-10 school year.  ALL volunteers must complete the application including those previously approved under the old system. 
 
To complete the Volunteer Application Form, log onto the LISD website www.lisd.net select the Parent/Students link, then select the 'Volunteer/Background Check' option from the drop down menu.  Create an ID/Password for yourself and complete the application.  Once you have successfully saved/submitted your application you are finished.  
 
It will take a few weeks for LISD to complete your background check.  Previously approved volunteers will  be authorized to volunteer during the interim, but this is a limited time frame. 

Please complete your application as soon as possible!
