PEP RALLY SCHEDULE AND RULES
Guideline and Rules for attending Pep Rallies:
Friday August 31st will be the first pep rally held at the Main Campus. (All Pep Rallies are held on Fridays.)
Each week, the school will rotate the buses that have been selected to attend the pep rally. Every student will have an opportunity to go once this football season. If your assigned bus is selected, a shuttle will take you to LHS (Main Campus) for the pep rally. Your assigned bus will take you home from LHS (Main Campus). Parents can not give permission to a student to ride a bus that is not the one which they normally ride home. For those students who do not ride a bus (i.e. walk to school), there will be a specific day for them to attend a Pep Rally. A shuttle bus will take them to the Main Campus, and return them to LHS-N at the end of the Pep Rally.
If you would like to attend additional pep rallies (other than the one your assigned bus will attend), you will have to provide your own transportation to LHS and home. Please look at the following guidelines regarding early release to attend a pep rally with private transportation.
- A letter signed by your parent or guardian giving permission for you to leave. The letter must contain information explaining who will be picking you up from LHS-North and a phone number at which your parent or guardian can be reached to verify this information
2. You will then receive a pep rally pass and be released from your 4th period class at 3:15.
The attendance office will not accept phone calles, faxes or emails. If a student does not bring in a letter by 8:30 Friday morning, they cannot attend the pep rally that week, unless a parent or guardian comes to LHS-North at 3:15 and personally signs out the student with the Attendance Office.
THE ONLY ACCEPTION: If a student has 1st period at Main Campus, they may bring their letter to the Attendance Office when they arrive at LHS-North. (They will then receive a pep rally pass as described above).
