LISD Drug Testing Policy
LISD has implemented a new drug testing policy for all students
involved in a UIL sanctioned activity. Each family should have received a tri-fold flyer
from the district about Random Student Drug Testing.

"There is a national initiative to assist with students being drug free and the testing
provides accountability and a legitimate "OUT" from peer pressure to use drugs.
Many school districts throughout Texas have started this program with great success
and support from the community. We are excited to bring such
a great program to our district to support our kids." - AP Robert Shields
