Students are allowed to make up work when they are absent due to illness. They
are also allowed the same number of days to make up work as they
missed due to the illness. For example….if a student is
absent Monday and Tuesday and returns on Wednesday, they are allowed
to have Thursday and Friday to make up work and turn it in on
Monday.
If you feel your child may miss only 1 or 2 days of school, they
can get make-up work on the next day when they return. If you
feel that the student will miss 3 or more consecutive days then
you will be able to pick up work every 3rd day. After requesting
work, please allow a 24 hour “turn-around” time for
teachers to get work prepared and sent to the office. Make-up
work may be picked up after school only.
