All LISD 8th grade students must establish, or re-establish proof of residency before being enrolled in 9th grade.

Proof of residency can be established by presenting a March or April utility bill, either natural gas, electric, or water.

Lakeview’s office clerk, Ms. Whiteley will accept the documentation, make a copy, and return the original to meet the district requirement. Parents may bring the required documentation to school or send it with their child. This requirement applies to ALL students enrolling in 9th grade in LISD. This requirement applies even if the student has attended LISD schools kindergarten through 8th grade and even if you have not changed residence during this time. This district requirement is in place to ensure that district funds are being used only on students who reside in district attendance zones.
