2. Provide groups; such as social skills, self-esteem and anger management
3. Assist with school supplies
4. Assist with school uniforms
5. Assist with basic needs
6. Make referrals as needed

You can…

Lewisville ISD, in partnership with Communities in Schools of North Texas, is pleased to offer an after-school program that will provide your child with fun, enrichment and learning activities that is ABSOLUTELY FREE! This new program, Learning Beyond the Bell, is available to your child as a result of a grant funding from the Texas Education Agency. Learning Beyond the Bell is open to qualifying 3-5th graders.
Learning Beyond the Bell is a campus-based program filled with activities to help students who are struggling academically. Our goal is to help your child gain reading, writing, math, science, and social studies skills while enjoying the afternoon. Learning Beyond the Bell is held Monday through Friday from 3:00pm until 6:00pm. All students receive a snack, homework assistance and tutoring, along with other learning opportunities provided by Lewisville ISD teachers. Learning Beyond the Bell is closed on all school holidays and on early release days.

For more information about this program or to see if your child qualifies please contact Esmeralda Platas, Case Manager at platase@lisd.net or (972)350-2636.
