We have been invited to sing at the Briarhill Concert on May 23, 2008 at 7:00. Put it on your schedule. We will be singing.
Our songs for Sandy Lake Fun Fest will be Risseldy Rosseldy and Path to the Moon.
We are going to dress in 50's attire for the Spring Concert entitled “Fun Fifties'.
SING-OFFS
Be prepared to sing all of the songs by memory in small groups on the date given.

CHOIR GUIDELINES
GUIDELINES
If a child has 4 unexcused absences from either rehearsals or performances during the year, he/she will be dismissed from the choir. If your child is ill or needs to miss a rehearsal/concert for family emergencies, please send written notification explaining the absence so that it can be excused and marked accordingly. Attendance is taken at all rehearsals and students will earn attendance points towards end of the year choir awards.
Unless otherwise stated, the choir outfit will consist of the choir T-shirt, dark pants, shorts or skirt, and dark shoes.
Choir members must be passing all subjects and maintain a 2 or above in behavior to participate.
Choir members should maintain strong leadership in the music classroom, at school, and within the community.
Choir members must attend all rehearsals and concerts. In the case of an emergency, please notify Mrs. Matney by written note the next school day. If a choir member has more than four absences throughout the year, he/she will be dismissed from choir. Forgetting is NOT excused. Please know your choir rehearsal dates and work around them. School related activities (safety patrol/tutoring) may be excused if not detrimental to knowing the choral material.
