Lessons/Activities We will review requirements for the final copy of the hero project.
Students will have the class period to work on the rough draft of their hero projects
Students will peer edit each others' rough drafts today.
Assignment Final Copy of hero project due on WEDNESDAY...NO EXCEPTIONS!!!


Tuesday
Objective

20(A)  frame questions to direct research (4-8);

15(C)  write to inform such as to explain, describe, report, and narrate (4-8);

20(G)  follow accepted formats for writing research, including documenting sources (6-8).

Lessons/Activities
We will review how to create a works cited page.
Students will have the class period to make corrections to their rough drafts.
Final copy of hero project due tomorrow.
Assignments FINAL COPY OF HERO PROJECT IS DUE TOMORROW.  NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.

Objectives

20(C)  take notes from relevant and authoritative sources such as guest speakers, periodicals, and on-line searches (4-8);

20(D)  summarize and organize ideas gained from multiple sources in useful ways such as outlines, conceptual maps, learning logs, and timelines (4-8);

15(C)  write to inform such as to explain, describe, report, and narrate (4-8);

20(G)  follow accepted formats for writing research, including documenting sources (6-8).

Activities Students will have the class period to finish the final copy of their hero projects.
Assignments HERO PROJECTS ARE DUE TODAY!!
