Sample | Research and Rough Draft | Final Draft
If the text on your screen is too small, or too large for you to comfortably read, do the following.
On the menu bar, click on View|Text Size and choose a size that is right for you.
Remember to highlight the instruction you are on. When you switch back to your instructions, it will still be highlighted and you won't lose your place as easily.
Now that you have an idea of where we are going, lets get started on your Research and Rough draft.
Take out a blank sheet of paper and fold it in thirds like the brochure we just looked at.
Label your sheet of paper with the headings and questions as circled in green on pages 1 and 2 of the sample.
Take notes (ie. summarize in your own words!!!) on your sheet of paper so you build a rough draft of your brochure as you go. Remember a summary has a beginning, middle, and end; is concise and precise; and would fit in the palm of your hand.
Use the website below to complete your research.

When your rough draft is complete have your teacher approve it before you go on to the next step.
