Q. What kinds of things are good for children to know
before they come to kindergarten?
A. It would be good for
children to be able to identify colors, shapes, and some letters.
It also would be helpful for them to be able to write their
name.
Q. What kinds of things do you work on in kindergarten?
A. We learn identification
of letters and their sounds, identification of numbers to
20, counting to 100, and much, much more.
Q. What if my child can already do those things?
A. We encourage reading
and writing and math at their level.
Q. How are the children dismissed at the end of classes?
A. There are three ways
children get home: day care vans, cars, and buses. A teacher
takes the day care riders to the day care vans at ten till
the hour of dismissal. Another teacher takes the bus riders
out at five till the hour of dismissal, and still another
teacher takes the car riders.
