Signing Students Out of School
If you need to pick up your child during the school day, you will need to bring an ID and sign them out in the office. Once your ID is verified, your child will be called out of class.

Visitors
For the safety and security of our students, we ask that ALL visitors enter through our main entrance and report to the office to sign in and receive a visitors badge. When visitors, volunteers, parents, or contractors wish to enter the building, or parents come to pick up students during the school day, they will be asked to present a valid government issued photo ID, either US or from a foreign government (such as drivers license, military ID card, or governmental ID card). Please wear your visitor’s sticker in and outside the building. PTA volunteers need to sign in at the front office, and they will wear their PTA badges.

Visits to individual classrooms, during instructional time, are permitted only with approval of the principal and teacher. Visits during instructional time are not permitted, if their duration or frequency interferes with the delivery of instruction or disrupts the normal school environment as determined by the teacher and principal.

Volunteers
School volunteers are a key part of a successful school. LISD encourages public involvement at all levels of the district. If you wish to be a volunteer at a school, please contact the principal's office at the school where you wish to serve.

For the safety of the students and to be in accordance with LISD policy ALL VOLUNTEERS & CHAPERONES must fill out a criminal background check. This can be done on-line by clicking here. This application must be processed SIX WEEKS before an individual may volunteer for any school-related activities.
