One of the most important lessons education should teach is behavior. While it does not appear as a subject, it underlies the whole educational structure; it is the training that develops self-control, discipline, character, orderliness, and efficiency. It is the key to good conduct and consideration for other people.
All students should behave at school in such a manner as to reflect credit upon their school and home. They will behave responsibly, demonstrating courtesy and respect for the rights of other students and District staff. Student cooperation and respect for the property of others, including District property, is essential to maintaining safety, order, and discipline. The school is a place where positive social behavior is expected by all of the students, as well as adults.
Student behavior is observed in many areas: in the classroom, on the playground, in the halls, in the cafeteria, in the restrooms, on field trips, and on the way to and from school. It is expected that our students enjoy school, and the amount of freedom and privileges allowed to each student will depend upon each doing his/her best, and maintaining a proper order in all school activities.
STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO BEHAVE IN SUCH A MANNER AS TO ALLOW OTHERS TO LEARNAND THE TEACHER TO TEACH.
