On behalf of our faculty, students, and community, I would like to welcome you to our Ethridge Elementary web site. Our school, which opened in the fall of 1990, is a special place where all children find an encouraging environment in which to learn and grow. Ethridge is located in The Colony, Texas - a family community that is in close proximity to both Dallas and Ft. Worth . It is part of the well-known Lewisville Independent School District .

We have more than 400 EAGLES in our Kindergarten through Fifth Grade elementary school. Yes, we are the ETHRIDGE EAGLES and our motto is "Be The Best You Can Be ." We have been designated an " Exemplary School " by the Texas Education Agency for the past six years. We also have many enrichment programs to offer children with a variety of interests. We have Art, Physical Education, Music, and Library. We also have teams that fully participate in school, district and UIL Academic Meets.
