Important School Information

• New Lewisville ISD is upgrading the Volunteer Criminal History software this summer.
  As a result, all volunteers will be obligated to reapply to serve our campus.
• New Vaccination Requirements for the 2009-2010 School Year
• Attention Downing 6th and 7th grade parents. The following two documents explain changes to the middle school and high school elective credit offerings in 2009-2010. Please read about these changes as they might affect your student(s).

• Lunch Reminder: Parents may only bring lunch for their own child.  Food cannot be brought in for friends.
• The Legacy Garden of Downing Middle School
  • The Downing Promise path has been re-named the Legacy Garden of Downing Middle School. The Goal is the same, but the message is a much broader one: serves as a place of encouragement for new students; direction for current students; and memoriam for exiting students. The Legacy Garden will be lined with a brick that is 4”x8”. Students are to inscribe the brick with a word or phrase of advice, encouragement, and/or wisdom to fellow and future students and/or a thank you to DMS faculty/administration (Click here for more information).
