Major Achievements

2008 - Donald's DI team placed second at global competition!
The fourth-grade Destination ImagiNation team from Donald Elementary placed
second out of 71 teams at DI Global Finals.

Donald Elementary was selected as a 2006 No Child Left Behind Blue Ribbon School!
The No Child Left Behind Blue Ribbon Schools Program honors public and private K-12 schools that are either academically superior in their states or that demonstrate dramatic gains in student achievement.The ceremony was held in November, 2006, where representatives of Donald Elementary received a plaque and a flag signifying their NCLB-Blue Ribbon School status. Several Donald faculty members attended the ceremony. Principal-Cheryl Close, Asst. Principal-Michelle Wooten.
