The central location of the Degan Elementary Library/Media Center provides students, faculty, and parents ready access to its large collection of books, magazines, and videos. Our collection now numbers over 11,000 bar coded items. Our goal at Degan is to create an environment that:
    * encourages students to become life-long readers
    * provides a variety of information
* encourages students to become independent users of library
