Building Leadership Team

J.W. Degan Elementary School has a Building Leadership Team, (B.L.T.), composed of teachers, parents, and community members.  Teachers are elected representatives of the staff and parents are appointed to represent each grade level.  Meetings are held at 7:15 a.m. on Wednesday mornings in the school library. The B.L.T. is the site based decision making group for our campus, and its members provide input to the principal for direction, goals, and school wide improvement issues.

Selection of parents and community members follow state and district guidelines.
