5th graders are carefully using watercolors to paint their candy wrappers in the Pop Art style that was popular in the 1960's. They are learning that FONT, COLOR, and CHARACTERS are key when you are selling a product.

Art and Literacy go hand in hand, especially if you are making owls like the one in Owl Moon. 1st graders discovered many characteristics of owls, as well as their habitats. |
