At what age can my child start school?	Students must be five years of age by September 1st of the current year in order to begin school.
What is required for enrollment?	Birth certificate, Social Security card, immunization record, withdrawal from previous school, parent i.d., and proof of local residency (water, gas or electric bill). If a parent or student live with someone, they have to provide the utility bill plus a notarized letter stating parent/student live with her/him (Student Services will notarize the letter at no cost). If parent/student just moved to a new residence, they have to provide a copy of the lease/purchase contract (Parents have 30 days to provide a utility bill.
How many students are enrolled at Creekside?	Creekside Elementary has 529 students enrolled. The average class size is 20 students.

Is breakfast available?	Yes, breakfast is served from 7:30-7:50 each day. The cost for breakfast is $1.00
What is the cost of lunch?	Lunch is $1.95. Free/reduced applications are available in the school office.
Would I be able to volunteer at the school?	Absolutely, we love parent involvement. You will need to fill out a volunteer/background check application which can be found online at www.lisd.net, or in the office.
If a child is late for school, what is the procedure?	Any student arriving after the 8:00 a.m. bell, must report to the office to receive a tardy slip in order to be admitted to class.
How do we check out students for appointments?	Any students leaving Creekside during the school day MUST be signed out in the office. Only the person(s) listed on the enrollment card would be able to sign your child out. For the protection of your child, a valid driver's license will be requested when signing out students.
